Benjamin Levy: Combines the skill and talent of professional musician and computer whiz. Born in Brooklyn,N.Y., Benjamin moved to Israel when he was two years old, served as a musician with the Israel Defense forces, and recorded with Israel's leading personalities. After returning to the United States, Benjamin combined a professional music career with computer studies, splitting his time between the arts. He returned to Israel in 1988, where he met his wife, Shira, with whom he perfected his musical/computer theories, which culminated in their first successful effort: "Bar/Bat Mitzvah Personal Tutor", the renowned program for teaching Bar and Bat Mitzvah students their Haftara and Torah portions.

Shira Levy: Born to one of Israel's musical families, Shira grew up in New York, performing as a singer and musician at a young age, both alone and with her family. She completed her education in both the United States and Israel where Shira was working, when she met Benjamin. Prior to creating LEV Software with her husband, Shira was the Director of the Jewish Culture Foundation at New York University, and was the manager of one of Israel's leading Concert Management Agencies.

Following the success of the Bar/Bat Mitzvah program, Shira and Benjamin added Prayers, Blessings, Hebrew Language courses, Hebrew and Israeli Songs, Word Processors and games to their offerings.

Shira and Benjamin's most "masterful collaborations" have been the creation and upbringing of their beautiful twin daughters, Annette & Bettina, now 9 years old, and their son Adam, almost 3. The twins have been using Lev Software's Hebrew learning programs for years, and are proficient in the aleph bet, vowels, basic Hebrew vocabulary, and can type in Hebrew too!
